On 10th December, twelve Year 9 science students were invited to Le Creuset head office to explore the cutting edge technology of induction cooking. Harrow Way Music Department presented a Christmas Concert on the evening of Wednesday 15th December. On Tuesday 7th December, the Performing Arts Diploma group went to Northampton to watch The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe at the Royal & Derngate Theatre. The show starred ex-pupil Adam Baxter who played Mr Tumnus.
On Friday 18th November we welcomed back our Year 11 students from last year to receive their GCSE Certificates. Also presented were subject awards and special achievement cups and trophies, which this year included the Le Creuset Cup for Outstanding Performance in Catering. Year 10 students had the option to dress up as characters from the movies, in order to raise money for Children in Need. Other year groups have been selling cakes at break time and lunch time, and some student are attempting a sponsored silence for the day. Click here to view some pictures. [...]
Friday 5th November will be a public performance of this years Shakespeare link show, Romeo and Juliet. Year 11 students have worked with Phil Bowen from Shakespeare Link over half term and after school this week as a professional drama company. The show starts at 7pm, Adults £4, Concessions £2
