There was a packed house for the Key Stage 3 presentation evening on 16th July. The Geography Department have had a busy last couple of weeks taking part in three field work trips. Year 7 visited Charlton Lakes, Year 9 explored the New Forest and Year 10 visited Swanage and Lulworth Cove as part of their GCSE investigation of physical geography and the effects of tourism in the area. In the last week of June Year 7 students spent the morning investigating Charlton Lakes. Their task was to find out what impact visitors had made to the environment and how the impact can be managed so that local people can enjoy the facilities and wildlife.
