The acclaimed children’s author, Cliff McNish, is visiting Harrow Way on Wednesday 21st September to perform to Year 8.
Cliff McNish is a master storyteller of spine-chilling ghost stories and his latest novel, The Hunting Ground, is no exception – a tale of one house, two boys, a ghostly girl and an evil baddie who has been waiting a long time for new blood to arrive!
On the day Cliff will speak to the whole year group about the craft of writing good fiction including essential elements needed to write really compelling stories.

A representative from Waterstone’s bookshop will be selling copies of Cliff’s books on the day and the Year 8 students will be given the opportunity to meet Cliff and get their book signed. Book prices start at £6.99 and go up to £8.99 for the most recent ones. If you would like your child to purchase a signed copy they can bring payment in on the day.
