Twenty three Year 10 students, who have PE on a Wednesday morning, have signed up to do the Level 1 Sports Leaders UK course at Harrow Way School. This half term they have focused on leading a session through tag rugby and have experienced lots of fun games to try out on the very keen Year 6 at Knights Enham Junior School.
An enthusiastic twelve set off this week, along with six Crazy Catches, tag belts, balls, bibs and markers. They were joined by Svend, on work placement from Enham.
Miss Sturges, Svend, Miss Nicholls and Miss Pearson (Year 6 teachers) were all very impressed with the organisation, the communication, the activities and the calm management of the pupils by the Harrow Way students. Well done Harrow Way Sports Leaders – a great first session!
The second half of the Sports Leaders group will be leading their session after half-term.
