As reported on Andover Sound and in the Andover Advertiser, Year 11 student Catherine Pearson is a World Champion in Tae Kwon Do. Having started training when she was just five years old, she is now a Second Dan Black Belt. Attending the World Championships at Telford recently, she came back with the Gold Medal she had dreamt of. Ellie and Katie Roche also attended the Championships, representing England (and Harrow Way!) extremely well. Catherine’s next goal is to represent Great Britain at the 2016 Olympics.
