This year, five Year 7 teams are representing Harrow Way School in a Social Enterprise competition called ‘One Big Idea’. Teams have been working towards a new product design, with the overall winning idea being developed into a real product and sold across the UK by The Cooperative, a large chain of shops. The profits from the sales will help raise funds in support of a major social issue in Malawi. Product ideas can be viewed and voted for by the public. The team with the most votes will be brought to the special attention of the judges.
The five Harrow Way teams have put a lot of effort into the project and now would like to ask you to support them by voting for their ideas. Hopefully you will like them.
If you decide to support the Year 7s in their endeavour, here is what to do:
- Click on the link at the bottom of this post to go to the registration page (you need to register in order to be able to vote). It will only take a minute!
- After you register, click on “VIEW & VOTE†to see all product ideas. You can vote for more than one idea. Originally they are displayed alphabetically, but if you click on “Most Recent†from the submenu you will probably find the Harrow Way teams within the first few pages.
- Vote before the deadline which is 19th February.
