Wednesday 3rd December saw the first of two basketball sessions that our Year 10 Sports Leaders would lead to pupils from Knights Enham Juniors. The Year 5 pupils arrived to a well-organised group of Year 10 who had the gym set up and were more than ready to welcome their guests.
Fun games were played to improve confidence with the ball and develop passing, dribbling and shooting skills which meant that all four groups were keen to have their own mini 3 v 3 basketball competition!
Closely watched by Svend Hunter and Miss Sturges, the leaders impressed them with their enthusiasm, effort, leadership skills and ability to officiate.
At the end of the hour, the fourteen Knights Enham pupils were complimented on their hard work, effort and sportsmanship by the leaders, Miss Escritt and Miss Sturges. They returned to school buzzing and raving about their new skills! Well done to them and well done to our Sports Leaders!
Year 6 next week – we are looking forward to it already!
