Team work was the key for the Year 8/9 Girls’ Football team. It was a cold night but all seven players put in super performances and worked closely together to ensure a win against Test Valley (1-0) and draws with Winton (0-0) and John Hanson (1-1). Their final game against John Hanson was a nail biter! Miss Woodrow knew that a draw would be enough to win the competition and lift the Andover Football Club sponsored trophy. The team stayed as cool as the weather and never looked under pressure as Amelia equalised with a few minutes to go.
