Today we woke to a wonderful winter wonderland. There had been the most amazing snowfall and we couldn’t believe our luck.
After a hearty breakfast no one could wait to try their luck in the rare powdery conditions. Some were luckier than others, and some found out what it must be like to jump into a pool of talcum powder. On the return at lunchtime we seemed to collect rather a lot of snowmen, rather than Harrow Way students! It was great fun to listen to everyone’s animated conversations over lunch and there were beaming faces all round.
We ended the day with a trip to the sports centre where they were given the opportunity to play either basketball or badminton.
To the delight of Mr Hudson, Miss Escritt and Mrs Cook, they are all now tucked up in bed, fast asleep.
