During the first week I delivered assemblies on British Values, discussing the question: ‘What does it mean to be British?’

At Harrow Way, we promote and prepare the development of an understanding of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

During the assemblies, we discussed the five key British values to encourage our students to increase their acceptance of other people’s views and confidently express their own.
