Sadly the first league fixture of the new year ended in a defeat for the Year 11’s. While the whole match was close, John Hanson made the breakthrough with two preventable goals in quick succession before Harrow Way sured things up going into half time.
After some more back and forth Finn Belbin snagged a goal back for the home side with a agile volley from six yards. Regrettably the goal scorer then fouled in the HW box leading to a penalty, saved by Mason Ardron, atoning for earlier errors.
Minutes later with HW pushing for an equalizer, John Hanson scored again effectively ending the match.
