Harrow Way took two teams to a basketball tournament held at Rookwood school on Wednesday. With 5 matches against: each other, Test Valley (x2), Wellington and Rookwood, there were plenty of baskets scored!
The Year 7 team of Faith, Madison, Issy, Tianna and Chloe, played exceptionally well against the mostly Year 8 teams, winning 1 game and scoring in 3 of the 4 others.
The Year 8 team of Megan, Grace, Grace, Faith and Georgie won 4 and lost 1, with all players contributing to an impressive basket total of 25.
The results were exceptionally close; the Year 7 team came 5th, but the Year 8 team finished an impressive joint 1st position with Wellington. A fantastic result for all involved.
