After finishing narrow runners-up out of 8 teams in the previous tournament, Harrow Way entered this event with high hopes of success. Despite an early defeat in the first game, the girls kept their composure, beating Winton 2-1, Rookwood 2-1 and drawing against Test Valley 1-1. Player of the tournament Julia scored 4 of our goals, with Faith scoring the 5th.
Tireless effort from the Year 7’s of Lily, Jisa, Luana, Annabelle and Tianna kept the games tight, and we were delighted to hear when the final results were announced that we again finished in second place.
With one more tournament left to play this year, Harrow Way will be looking to end on a victorious high.
