The year 7 girls football team played only their second full-sided match of the year, in terrible weather, against St Edmunds in Salisbury on Wednesday 21st November.
With boundless energy and enthusiasm, the girls worked hard and produced some excellent attacking opportunities. Daisy and captain, Jisa, created excellent spaces on the wings, attacking at speed when they received the ball. Annabelle was solid in defence, working with Carys, Lily and Evelyn to prevent scoring opportunities. Player of the match Libby changed from striker to goalkeeper in the second half, producing some fine saves. A final result of a 7-0 loss does not credit the hard work and positive attitude of the team.
