The Year 8 and 9 rounders teams were both playing semi final matches this week.
The Year 8’s lost a well fought game against John Hanson 16 1/2 rounders to 12. Batter of the match was Hannah Salter, Fielder of the match went to bowler Lauren Farrelly. A special mention must go to Chloe Huang who scored an impressive 2 1/2 rounders in her first game for Harrow Way.
The Year 9 team were victorious against The Clere, winning 16 rounders to 12 1/2. Batter of the match went to Anita Lukacovicova, fielder of the match was awarded to 2nd base Alicia Lund. Miss King, of The Clere, gave a special mention to the excellent fielding skills of our backstop, Emily Cook.
The Year 9 team are due to face John Hanson in the final.
