Hampshire CAMHS are running FREE Parent and Carer Events across Hampshire throughout 2018 (Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Fareham, Havant, Eastleigh, New Forest). This event aims to provide information, advice and guidance to parents and carers of young people from 0-18years in age.
Our first one of 2018 will be on: Tuesday 30th January 2018 at Winchester Guildhall. Please see flyer here.
They will be holding 45 minute workshops on:
- Anxiety management (facilitated by Hampshire CAMHS)
- Crisis and self-harm management (facilitated by Hampshire CAMHS)
- Eating difficulties/ disorders (facilitated by Hampshire CAMHS Specialist Eating Disorder Service)
- Boosting Body Image and Self-Esteem (Facilitated by Hampshire CAMHS Specialist Eating Disorder Service)
- Managing ADHD (facilitated by Hampshire CAMHS)
- Challenging behaviour including school non-attendance (facilitated by the Primary Behaviour Service)
- Autism Awareness (facilitated by Autism Hampshire)
- Coping with Transition (facilitated by the School Nursing Team)
- Substance Misuse issues (facilitated by Catch 22)
- Gender Identity and Sexuality (facilitated by Solent NHS)
- Relationships and Sexual Health (facilitated by Solent NHS Sexual Health Team)
- Where to go for Support (facilitated by Parents Voice)
- How to support a child that is being bullied (facilitated by Hampshire Educational Psychology Department)
