On a lovely summers day Harrow Way competed in the annual Year 9 and 10 District Athletics, with both year groups finishing a very creditable second in the overall competitions. Held at Charlton Sports Ground, all the students performed excellently and many qualified for the County Competition. Notable individual performance were Daniel Fowler (1st in the high jump and long jump), Michael Summerfield (first in the shot put). Cameron Walker also optimised the team spirit ethos of Harrow Way School, standing in at the last minute for the shot put and 800m and finishing third in both.
