This week Miss Lowing explored the theme of Islamophobia. We acknowledged that there is a lot of press and internet coverage of atrocities committed by so-called Muslim groups and that young people could be forgiven for thinking that Islam is a violent religion. However, with the help of Tarik and Harry in Year 7, Miss Lowing explained that the world’s fastest growing religion is based on tolerance, understanding and compassion for others.
