On Wednesday 14th December the Yr7 and Yr8 Girls took part in a Football tournament held at Wellington Academy. There were four teams there; Harrow Way, Test Valley, John Hanson and Wellington. It was organised very well and the teams got under way. The Yr8 Girls played very well but unfortunately lost two of their games but got a great draw against Test Valley. The Yr7 Girls had a great start winning 3-1 against Wellington and then continued their wins against Test Valley and then battling it to go top of the league against John Hanson, winning 1-0. The Yr7 Girls were over the moon and they played very well together and were very supportive of one another. The Yr7’s are now through to the next round…….well done girls!!!
