The Yr8 & 9 Girls Football team had a great start to their first match against John Hanson winning a comfortable 5-0. Harrow Way played at John Hanson on the floodlit AstroTurf, not in the best weather conditions; but that didn’t stop the girls. The girls worked very well together and played great as a team, communicating and working for each other. The work rate from every player was excellent and each player played a massive part in Harrow Way winning a great match! The goals came from Lucy Ladd who scored 4 and Abi Clark scored 1.
Player of the match was Katie Rackley for a great first solid performance in defence.
