After a swift review of last year’s successes (all three Houses had plenty to celebrate), this term’s House assemblies focused on introducing our new Hawks, Buzzards and Kestrels to the house system; we also launched a whole host of exciting inter-House competitions.

From public speaking to baking and Christmas card design, the competitions over the next 7 weeks give an opportunity to students with a wide range of talents to contribute to the success of their House.

We are also looking for new House Captains, Year 10 students who help run events and build House spirit. These young people need to be confident, mature and committed to earn this important role within the school.

The House Cup changed hands again last year, showing that it really is anybody’s to win. Which House will step up to take the prize? This coming term might just give us a clue.
