Media Students attend Cheltenham Literature Festival

​cheltenham-media-festival-oct16On Friday 14th October, Year 11 Media students attended the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Their morning was spent in a workshop with Deputy Editor of The Times, Emma Tucker and columnist Phil Collins. After learning how the newsroom worked, and a brief visit to the Waterstones tent, they then attended The Times Live debate, listening in as some of the leading Times journalists debated the important issues of the week. It was a fascinating and enjoyable day, with Emma Tucker commenting on how mature and intelligent our students were.
