Headteacher’s Blog – Week 17 – British Values

January 18th, 2016

This week, Assistant Headteacher, Miss Lowing presented her assembly on British Values and how we should be proud of where we live. The assembly started with all students being asked to stand for the National Anthem. It was remarked that it felt unusual to do this, but compared to countries like USA it is a regular occurrence to swear allegiance to their country.

We should be proud of where we live and believe in our British Values of: democracy, freedom of speech, respect for other peoples views, multiculturalism and respect the rule of law.
