This week had the theme of Deep Thinking and it was the turn of Tutor Groups to present an assembly to their year group. Tutor 7RKS linked their assembly to a class book they have been reading in Tutor time, Michael Morpurgo’s, Shadow. They looked at current affairs and how Refugees are feeling at Christmas, this was their presentation.
8KLW looked how people celebrated Christmas around the world and summarised with a quiz at the end.
9STC choose to look at what we would like for Christmas compared to the simple things that refugees from Syria would like. Year 10, looked at current affairs by making a news report video.
Year 11 had an assembly from the Maths Department showing them all the revision methods but in places, plus the introduction of a new Maths App.
