This year our sports day was held on Friday 3rd July on our sports field. All students in Year 7, 8, 9 & 10 took part in a whole days worth of activities competing for points for their house. Before break was team sports, Tennis, Softball, Rounders and Tug of War. After break was all field events and longer distant track events, this was concluded after lunch with sprint races, hurdles and relays.
The weather was hot but all students had a great time and there was a true team spirit for all houses. The final results were very close and for the first time all 3 houses scored over 1000 points.
1st Place 1333 points – Hawks
2nd Place 1283 points – Buzzards
3rd Place 1214 points – Kestrels
