On Tuesday 28th April, seventeen Year 10 students attended University of Winchester for a taster day. The day gave the students an opportunity to try TV Journalism, Media and Marketing, applied Psychology and Liberal Arts and to give students an idea of what university life is like.
They then had the opportunity to try a different society – Street Arts, Street Dance, Volunteering Abroad and Photography.
The girls took part in street dance and learned a routine with the instructor Jodie. They picked it up so quickly and did such a good job that when we got back to school Miss Atherton asked them if she could film it. The video is here:
