Year 8 are once again down at Calshot Activities Centre in force, with a third of the year group in attendance. The students have been taking part in a varied schedule of adventure activities – including rock climbing, wind surfing, snow-boarding, track cycling on the indoor velodrome, kayaking, sailing and problem solving activities – with more still to come.
The past two evenings the groups have been rotating around a number of evening activities as well – so this evening we all took a much deserved break with a relaxing walk down the beach here at Calshot, followed by ‘Film Night’ where we all enjoyed watching ‘Frozen’. Not content with just a film however – the majority of the students then joined in with a free choice of indoor ball games after that as well. Everyone is now very much ready for bed (your adult web reporters included!).
