The year 10/11 boys’ badminton team were crowned district badminton champions on 3rd October seeing off competition from rival schools Winton, The Clere, John Hanson and Rookwood. The four man team consisting of Will Cooper, Gregor Corcoran, Ben Cox and Robbie Taylor played a series of both singles and doubles matches to secure their position as number one in Andover.
The year 8 boys’ table tennis team also competed at the district championships on 15th October but against a formiddable Mountbatten side struggled to get in to their stride. The team finished a credible 3rd place overall (out of four) with Rhys Jones winning all but one of his individual matches. The team consisted of Rhys Jones, Taylor Larkin, Callum Cousins and Matt Cooper.
