Each Assessment objective carries 25% of the mark.

Students can opt to further their studies in year 10 and 11 either on the OCR GCSE course (Unendorsed or Fine Art), or on the Edexcel BTEC First Certificate, Level 2 in Art & Design.  Both courses receive three, 50 minute lessons per week with the opportunity to attend after school clubs, workshops and challenge days.  A trip outside school to collect visual information is organised each year.

Artsmark is Arts Council England’s flagship programme to enable schools and other organisations to evaluate, strengthen and celebrate their arts and cultural provision.  Harrow Way has been awarded the GOLD standard, which includes Visual Art, Performing Arts, Dance and Drama.
