Harrow Way has hit Barcelona – and I think it may survive the experience! After an uneventful coach journey up to Bristol – the pretty way – and a very slightly delayed flight we arrived in Barcelona and the sunshine. Our hotel is very cosmopolitan and as described – right on La Rambla. After unpacking we went on an orientation walk down La Rambla, taking in the Christopher Columbus statue and the new Rambla del Mar. As we were all getting a little peckish we wandered back via the old town, the Placa Real and the Catedral to find our restaurant. Wow, can these children put away their food! We’ve all come back to the hotel to chill and have a reasonably early night in preparation for tomorrow – El Poble Espanyol, the Olympic Park and Parc Guell. Let’s hope the sun shines!
