On the 23rd January an intermediate and senior team went to Rookwood school to compete in this years Youth Speaks competition. The Intermediate team consisting of Alex Roberts (Chairperson), Mark Todd (Main Speaker) and Sheriese Bacon (Vote of Thanks) spoke on the subject of ‘Olympians as Role Models’.
The senior team, Katie Dutton (Chairperson), Anthony Wharton (Main Speaker) and Amy Roberts (Vote of Thanks) spoke on the topic of Respect and Equality in the Olympics. Well done to Amy Roberts, who won best Vote of Thanks in the senior competition.
