Harrow Way Under 13’s Cricket team capped off an amazing season with a very narrow loss to Test Valley, with Harrow Way being only 6 balls short of not only victory but an unbeaten season. Ben Cox and Liam Russell got the side off to a great start, both retiring on an unbeaten 26 and 25 respectively, with the home side finishing on a total of 97 for 3. The visitors responded with gusto, with a very quick 27 scored by Burton. Two great catches, one from Billy Robinson, and the other a ‘caught and bowled’ from Robbie Taylor, got the home side back in it the game, but it was to no avail, with Test Valley scoring the final runs only 1 over from the end of the game. It was a gripping match, and a fitting way to end a brilliant season that saw us end as league champions.
