The U16 tournament produced ‘moments of sheer genius’ versus unexpected hard work.

Kim Willis stepped in to shoot, coupled with the very capable Alice Longshaw, who together, fought hard to put the ball through the net. It took a while for the team to finely tune their actions, at which stage, valuable player Laura Gilbank fell and twisted her ankle, which resulted in a reshuffle leading to Kelly Butler from Year 9 stepping up to the mark, who played remarkably well.

Overall, the results were mixed, producing 3 wins, a draw and a loss, leading to a placing of runners up.

There were some great moments of netball here, but sadly, good fortune and luck were just not on our side.
