Harrow Way 19½ v John Hanson 9½
Harrow Way’s Year 8 started their first rounders match of the season with a convincing win over John Hanson.
Although Harrow Way were a little sluggish with their fielding in the first innings they still managed to take a lead of 12½ rounders to 6½. After a few reminders from Miss Escritt for the need to be on their toes and to back each fielder up on every occasion, Harrow Way became sharper and showed the way that they can really play and eventually winning the match by 19½ to 9½.
Noteable performances came from Lydia Moulding at backstop and Jessica Borley-Thorpe who battled and sneaked around the bases really well.
