Its another new month (March) and everyone has been working hard.

Our onions and garlic, which are in our raised beds, have survived the winter and are doing well; we have also been busy planting in our polytunnel and digging fresh beds outside.

So far we have sown seeds for ……

Carrots, Sugar Snap Peas, Peppers, Beans (French and Broad), Radish, Leeks, Spring Onions, Lettuce and various other salad crops. Next on the list are potatoes and sweetcorn.

Our “work force” has also increased this month with a group of Year 9 students who will be helping with projects around the school.

We have 2 new chickens in our livestock area and are now getting 6 eggs a day. The cash donated from the sale of these eggs is supporting the cost of the animal feed – so keep up the good work ladies!

Don’t forget our photo album …… see how we are doing.
