Well done to John Akehurst who, this Sunday, played in his first match for the Mountbatten Sports Partnership U14 rugby team! Following recent trials, John was selected to play second row, joining players from other schools in the Partnership. The team’s debut match saw the Partnership team draw 15-15 with Trojans, a well-estbalished local club. This is an excellent result for the team as it is only the first time they have played competitively together. They were very unlucky not to win the match, with Trojans only drawing level in the last play of the game.
Extremely well done again to John, who represented Harrow Way outstandingly. Good luck in future matches!
