Harrow Way 18 Test Valley 7

There were a few changes for this team due to the unavailability of Ella Howells through injury. We wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to her return to action next season. Lili McLean stepped up to the mark as goal keeper, making her debut and showed that she has the true potential of making a very good player with a few more games under her belt.

Celia Wyatt made her first appearance for the team and once she settles into the faster pace of the game, she will improve.

Although the team were never under threat they were a little rusty due to the long winter break, but after a team discussion at half time and building on the many positives, they got going and pulled further away from the Test Valley team. It was also a case of adjusting to a different set of players.

Ellie Roche, as always, was impressive; she has a work rate to be admired and completely dominated the centre court.

Lydia Moulding and Anna-Leigh Brookes took a while to get their shooting together, and once they did there was no stopping them. They must now work on their rebounding in order to become more effective.

This team has an impressive record of not being beaten in their first two years at secondary school and they are determined to maintain this.
