DSC00140[1]On Monday 19th January 4 girls from Year 10 and 11 travelled to Farnborough Leisure to compete in the Hampshire Schools County Badminton semi-finals.

The team had qualified for this competition by winning two earlier competitions namely the North Partnership round and then winning the North Vs South Mountbatten Schools Partnership round, thus eliminating seven other secondary schools in the process.

In the County Semi-finals Harrow Way were to play 3 other schools who had qualified in a similar way. The standard was very high.

Harrow Way started nervously but as the competition went on they played some superb badminton and several teachers from the other schools were very complimentary about our team’s play and the way that they conducted themselves.

Harrow Way finished in a very creditable 2nd place overall.
