The Dance Department would like to bring your attention to two dance events coming up in December 2008:
1: The Harrow Way Dance Competition
Taking place on TUESDAY 9TH DECEMBER: 3.30-5.30pm in the Auditorium
Over 80 students from all year groups have been entered into this competition and they will all be competing for numerous prizes, including ‘Best Choreography’ and ‘Best Performance’. All the dances have been choreographed and organised by the students themselves and it is set to be a fun and entertaining afternoon.
Tickets will be sale on the door and will cost 50p each.
2: BTEC Dance Choreography showcase
Taking place on THURSDAY 11TH DECEMBER: 7.00-9.00pm in the Auditorium
The current Year 10 and 11 students studying BTEC Dance have been working extremely hard towards this performance which also involves many Year 7, 8 and 9 students. Both groups have been choreographing their own works and have achieved this to a very high level. You will see a variety of different dance styles and I am sure you will really enjoy the performances that the students have worked so hard to produce.
Tickets will be on sale on the door and are £4 for adults, £2 for under 16s.
