Harrow Way 23 – John Hanson 2
This was a very satisfying finish to the netball league before the Christmas break for our Year 8 team. They completely dominated the game from start to finish, showing good patterns of passing up the court and they are now beginning to time their moves really well.
Ella Howells’ marshalling of the defence started the sequence of play through to the attack, with Lydia Moulding and Annie Brookes popping the goals in to complete play.
This week we had the luxury of being able to substitute each quarter, giving the team the chance to experiment with new ideas and different positions Lili McLean made her debut in defence and slotted in well and never really looked out of place.
Abby Portsmouth has continued to impress at wing defence and has really been one of the players along with Ellie Roche at centre who have made great progress.
