Harrow Way v Rookwood
Result – HW lost 10 – 4
Harrow Way didn’t really get into their ‘groove’ during this match until the final quarter. Due to absent players, many people were playing out of position and found it hard to adapt to this and show their true potential as a team.
Despite the loss, each team member put in 100% effort throughout the game, showing real character and commitment.
Our defenders, Hollie Eaton and Lauren Willis (who is usually a shooter!) did not stop. They turned around so many plays, intercepting a very impressive amount of netballs.
Our team equally struggled to get the ball past the very strong Rookwood defence despite extremely hard work and impressive movement from Chloe Lister. Chloe showed excellent timing and movement off the ball, coupled with faultless passing.
A disappointing result, but with some tactical work during training and refining some skills, we should be ready to go out fighting for our next match.
