This game was always going to be an even and well contested game. Both teams played entertaining and well drilled netball. The game was played at a good, controlled pace, with accurate passing and timed dodging. In fact, it was pleasing to see Andover schools producing such a high standard of netball.
The first quarter finished with the scores even, but in the second quarter Harrow Way took the lead and then never looked back despite John Hanson’s defence doing everything they could to frustrate our shooters.
Hannah Catton, Laura Gilbank and Maisie Franklin took control of the centre court and Rebecca Parker and Ellie Vanderlank took control in defence, intercepting many of the passes into the shooter.
