Work has commenced on the new Outdoor Education Zone at Harrow Way School. During the summer holidays, the perimeter fencing was installed and erected. Since then, students and staff have been hard at work building the accommodation for the rabbits and guinea pigs, and an enclosure which will eventually house the chickens and goats. Some of the raised beds which will be used for the planting of vegetables and herbs in the spring have also been built.

The next phase of the project will see the poly tunnel and timber storage shed being built, as well as the housing for the livestock. The site is really beginning to take shape as the recent good weather has allowed work to continue at a good pace.

For more information about the project, speak to Mr Peters or Mr Badby.

All old gardening tools are gratefully received!
