Seven cross country runners from Year 7 and 8, as well as two Year 10 Sports Leaders, arrived at Charlton for the North and South Cross Country Run this afternoon. The races would decide who would represent the partnership at this event.
Cherie Ballard, Michael Pearce and Tom Stacey from Year 7. Melanie Hankey, Sam Catton, Luke Holman and Ryan Hethershaw from Year 8 represented the school superbly, putting 100% effort in, regardless of the extremely muddy conditions Six of the seven finished in the top 16 of their race and will go on to represent the Partnership at Cross Country in the New Year. Well done, in particular, to Sam Catton who finished fourth in the Year 8 3km boys’ race.
Sports Leaders Mitchell Lowe and Toni Evans represented the school extremely well, assisting with supervision and competition organisation. Huge thanks to them! and well done again to the seven runners!
