The 2007 “Aiming High” groups in year 7 and year 8 have just returned from their final weekend of activities.
The final weekend started on Friday evening at Tile Barn where students setup their tents and took part in some games. On Saturday the groups walked and cycled across the New Forest, and also visited the Beaulieu Development Centre to experience the zip wire and “leap of faith”. On Saturday evening students had to set up their own camp and prepare their own food (in the pouring rain). On Sunday students took part in sea kayaking (again in the rain) at Calshot Activities Centre before delivering a presentation on their Aiming High experiences to an audience.
