The very talented Year 11 football team crashed out of the National Cup in a dramatic penalty shoot-out to highly rated Salesian College. Despite dominating the game for long periods the eagles were unable to convert their many chances into goals. After reaching the last 64 teams in the country in Year 9, this was a very cruel way to bow out of the National Cup in their final year in school. Hopefully the County Cup will bring greater success ,although the first round draw away to former cup winners Bayhouse will be a tough obstacle to overcome. Full match report in the P.E. section.
