697This week sees the launch of Harrow Way’s fundraising campaign. The school aims to raise £10,000 for Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity by staging a series of sponsored events and culminating in an exhausting cycle ride from Lands End to John O’Groats by a handful of staff. Other events include the Plant a Penny project where every student has been given 1p and the challenge to turn it into more money, and the Virtual LeJog where staff will attempt to break the world record time for the Lands End to John O’Groats ride. That sounds impressive until you learn that they will be doing it indoors on rollers. It will still take them just under 48 hours to complete though!
