DSC_0529aAt Harrow Way Community School, Grease is the word! Since the nerve shredding auditions in September, students from all year groups have been ‘hopelessly devoted’ to rehearsing for their production of Grease: The Musical and last week they performed to sell out audiences over the three night run.

Following successful preview performances to students from Icknield and Portway Junior schools, and a special preview show for the members of Mencap’s Gateway Club, Harrow Way’s T-Birds and Pink Ladies wowed audiences with their high energy, fun packed performance.

Euan Manson, Curriculum Leader for Drama said: “What makes this production particularly special is our new partnership with Icknield School which sees a number of their students taking part in our after school drama club and indeed joining the cast of Grease. Many parents will remember Grease from their youth – the film is packed full of great songs, dance routines and iconic characters and the students relished the opportunity of performing such a fantastic musical. One again Harrow Way lived up to its reputation of excellent performing arts provision and delivered an outstanding show.”
