It has been a busy couple of weeks for the Harrow Way Performing Arts Department. Thursday 9th and Friday 10th July was our Drama and Dance showcase from our Year 9 and 10 BTEC Students. Year 9 students performed a gothic horror play, The Casting of the Runes and Year 10 students recreated their version of John Godber’s, ‘Teechers’. Dancers have been having street dance workshops in lessons and performed their pieces. Some pictures can be viewed here.
On Wednesday 15th July was our Music Summer Showcase. Students who take guitar lessons at school performed a variety of songs, followed by solo vocalist Isobel Laughton. Year 10 students then took to the stage to perform some rock numbers which will be assessed for their BTEC work. Some pictures can be viewed here.
